Courtney went to school at University of California Davis, where she studied Exercise Science and English. While at UCD, she competed in Pole Vault and Javelin for the UCD Track Team. After Graduation she spent 4 years working at The Pro Sports as a Personal Trainer and Performance Coach. As a personal trainer, Courtney, specialized in weight loss with 20/20 Lifestyles. As a performance coach, Courtney developed and coached Core Performance Marathon Training. She has run 8 marathons herself, including qualifying for the Boston marathon and running Boston in 2011. Courtney completed Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in the Fall of 2012. She taught Bikram Yoga at Bikram Yoga Coolsprings and Nashville for 9 months before taking off with her husband to travel the world as a traveling Yoga Instructor. She is currently traveling the Southern Hemisphere teaching in as many studios as possible and writing for her blog MasteringHealthandFitness.com.
